letrangere
Mmmm, OK, Corto Maltese. So, I borrowed "Fable de Venise" from the library and sat down to read it last night. Took a while to figure out which way the scenes went (was it zigzagging down the single page or across the double page spread?). I thought the art work was good, ie I liked the pictures. Yes, he is hunky(ish), a sort of Mr. Darcy look alike, despite the earring. I'm afraid overall though it did absolutely nothing for me. I've always harboured this secret, quite a shameful one for a Francophile, that I'm not turned on by BDs (either books or films) but I really, honestly did try to enjoy this. I told myself, you are going to like this. But I didn't. So I'm curious, what am I missing?Margaret
