letrangere
It's the title of an album by a woman called Carla Bruni, anyone heard it? Got a very good review in Saturday's Telegraph, "Rooted in a recognisably French tradition - stripped-down chanson, with little more than a gently strummed acoustic guitar for accompaniment - Bruni often echoes the style of '60s pop icon Francoise Hardy." (Now that takes me back!)Review continues, "If Norah Jones had been raised in Paris, she might have ended up sounding like Carla Bruni." How to sell lots of records in one easy sentence.M
LesLauriers
An excellent track from a great album. We used it in my french class to listen and comprehend the words. I borrowed the CD from the teacher and copied it As soon as I saw the title to this thread I immediately sang the words - haven't listened to it for a few weeks, must put it on, thanks for reminding me!! I would thoroughly recommend it.
