Russethouse
The book reviewed on 'Richard & Judy's' book club tonight was 'the sixth lamentation' which is set in France and somehow ties up events from WW2 with a current day story. The author, William Brodrick lives in Normandy.Sounded a good read......... letrangere
Gay, many thanks for the recommendation, I am going direct to Amazon now. Feel I need to read in English again sometime soon as I have read exclusively in French since the beginning of the year. letrangere
And this just proves that we're not always nasty and stabbing each other in the back on this forum. Thank you for the cyber claps, Belinda, I had a rotten day so far as my French was concerned (minor misunderstanding with major repercussions) and this has cheered me up no end.
