Fantine

Susie
If you are spending the whole Christmas EVE with them then I would expect to be fed a multi course festive meal as this is when the French have their 'Christmas dinner'. Go on an empty stomach. They also tend to open their presents at midnight (in theory after Mass). Maybe take a wrapped present, especially for their kids. GRT17
Re, Noel and the presents,It might be a good idea to talk to your friends beforehand and ask what they plan for the evening, also get an idea of what would be a suitable to give as presents.I am sure it will be a wonderful experience and how generous of them to invite you.Gill
Val_2
The meal may also be extremely late too so your children need to be warned as they will probably fall asleep otherwise.Don't forget to take presents to be opened as well and remember not to drink and drive if you go by car.
