Judyc
We are going to Paris on the 19th July (to see Simon and Garfunkel in concert!) and will be meeting my sister who is coming over from England.Does anybody have a favourite restaurant in central Paris where we could have lunch. Otherwise it is just pot luck and a likely tourist trap. Many thanks in advanceJudy
Chrisb
The Fermette Marbeuf, 5 rue Marbeuf, just off the Champs Elysees, is an amazing place with the most incredible Art Deco interior, and the food is good, too!! letrangere
Depends how much you want to spend. Also, even the most off-the-beaten-track places are sometimes discovered by adventurous tourists. Two favourites of ours that we've been going to for years, initially on the recommendation and accompanied by Parisien friends, are in the 4eme on Ile St Louis, Rue St Louis. Coming from the west half way down on the right on the corner, Vache d'Or. Keep going and further down on the left la Reine Blanche. But this time of year you're bound to find tourists there.
