La Guerriere
It's fairly complicated and is very much open to local interpretation by SAUR, SPANC and mairie. Go with the (metaphorical) flow ...

Patf
At least you've got a fosse and a grease trap. And you've had the fosse emptied! Much better than our set-up and we were told no steps would be taken until 2012.Does yours empty onto your own land, or a communal ditch? But as others have said interpretation of the regs. varies from place to place. chirpy
our outlet is on our land with slight slope towards road and ditch ,about 4-5 metres.from second pipe run.The pipe outlet from the tank has 2 pipes at right angles from it so they are parallel to the road. The grass always grows much thicker and taller here due to the extra water.(and I suppose a little fertiliser!!![8-|])
