Diana
Leading on from the quest for fresh milk.We are not milk drinkers so never have milk in the house which is a bit awkward when unexpected visitors arrive. In the UK I keep a jar of coffee mate but have never seen this or a similar product for sale in France. There are plenty of tins and tubes of condensed milk but this is very wasteful for just one cup. There is also plenty of dried milk. If I have invited people I will always buy fresh milk but the coffee mate is good for when someone just pops in.Any suggestionsDiana
Teamedup
I buy little sachets of powdered milk. Is this the sort of thing you are after.
Suninfrance
We have found coffee mate or similar whiteners in Intermarche and Super U.
Val_2
Régilait do powdered milk and is usually found along with the Evap and Condensed near the coffee selection. Be warned its foul stuff and goes hard if not kept in the dry.

Teamedup
I've just found our box, powered milk in little sachets called Voile de Lait, they do keep fairly well.
Diana
Thank you all for the replies, I shall stay clear of Regilait, but look for the sachets and certainly scour the shevles in the local SuperU more carefully next time.ThanksDiana
Teamedup
Voile de Lait sachets are made by Regilait, it is a big company here.
