Will Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 It all depends on the terms of the divorce, which should have set out the terms of ownership. Failing that, the terms (en tontine, separation de biens etc) under which they bought in the first place will apply. If the friend is worried about it he needs to consult a notaire.
