opas Posted November 11, 2004 Share Posted November 11, 2004 Following on from what Miki said in another thread( post bag(embarasing english in france) about some old bloke making comment about a jar of frogs legs and how could the french eat those disgusting things.....Well after going to the cenotaph this morning and on to the Marie after for aperos, our 2 girls brought a friend each for lunch.What to serve 4 children, mine eat like horses,one friend doesn`t normally eat more that a forkfull and is full and the other doesn`t eat any veg,salad ,pizza is out `cos she doesnt like tomato puree, so I had a brainwave, Toasties(you know the breville thingy,except ours is some cheapo make from TJ Hughes)Baked beans and cheese for all and my two asked for onion as well.The plates were licked clean! so any time now I am expecting two mums at my door asking for the recipe.Must phone Mr O in the UK to get some smartprice beans(Asda cheapies) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
