You remove the veins, salt, pepper as normal then wrap the lobes up in film making a sausage shape - I am not a microwave user so don't know if you can buy special microwave film or it is just cling film - then cook on 450W for one and a half minutes. Once cooked, pierce the film for the grease to run out. After it has cooled and you have removed the excess fat, recover with fresh film and reshape to sausage shape.Will try this after Noel if the foie gras is half price!
