Val_2 Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Yes Pork has been very good value here and it helps being in a very large pig producing region to get the best stuff fresh. Beef was a good price too just before Xmas and chicken/turkey currently in LeClerc is super value. I always stock up well before June anyway as they put all the meat prices up here to get more money out of the tourists for their BBQ's. Iceni Posted January 15, 2005 Share Posted January 15, 2005 Cheap pork has reached north 46 - bought boned, rolled loin from Leclerc at €3.20 per kg, chops at €2.05 and if we were so minded 1/2 pigs at €1.80 or so.
