Catrina Money
I am movingto Burgundy later this year and wonder what the availability of organicfood is like. I have found a few small farms and markets sellingfresh organic produce, but not much in the way of 'dry' goods such asflour, pulses, biscuits, cereals, etc. Does anyone know of a mailorder company perhaps? Viv
Bio food is becoming more widely stocked in bigger supermarkets. Try marchand.com , sorry can't recall full adress but they have a fair selection.
Dog
There are lots of Bio shops - pulses flours etc. Look for your local Bio COOP.
PossumGirl
All of the big supermarkets also have good selections of bio products and even their own bio lines. I've bought everything flour, butter, sugar, milk, in bio versions. Just look for the little greet AB printed on the label. Also, a lot of equitable products are now available.PG
Patf
Try http://www.celnat.fr They have a good range butdon't do delivery. They refer you to your nearest retailer that stockstheir products. Pat.
Jonzjob
We use a small friendly super market in the middle of Carcassonne, Aude (11) called Bio Vivre. They have branches in various places so have a look at http://www.bonneterre.fr/ and it should show you if there is one near by. They have a good range of dry and fresh goods (in season) and have been very helpful to us.They also do a wonderful hard abricot jellly that I adore. Just take from the fridge, slice off a small slice and munch, yum, yum!!John.
