Gardian
Well, they're off !Only last September's experience to speak of, but it's a bit earlier this year. The tractors and trailers are gathering around n about and the specialised grape gathering machines (sort-of narrow wheelbase tractors with 2 vertical steel plates which go up and down the rows of vines) are in evidence. It's good and dry just now (low 30's today and clear blue sky), so I reckon that they'll be at it every day from 08.00 - 19.00 starting tomorrow (except for a 2 hr lunch break, of course). Noisy, but there you go.Do try to repay their toils by trying some of their wares: west bank CdR (Sabran, St Gervais, Laudun, Chusclan).I try to help out every day.
