Bugsy
Mrs Bugbear has just received a book from our nearest neighbour for her birthday. It's titled "Nos meilleures recettes de famille" and published by www.editions.flammarion.com It contains 100 typical french family recipes and is ring-bound for use in the kitchen.Excellent...................................... This was taken about 3 years ago - I promise the collection has grown considerably since.
hastobe
LOL that sounds like me - I must have upwards of 50 cookery books - in addition to the other (100's) of books in our bookshelves. OH threatens divorce if I buy anymore ...but I am not easily deterred [;-)]Kathie
5-element
Cassis, is that cookery books on the top shelves, and dieting books on the lower shelves?[:P]
Cassis
Dieting? DIETING? Not round here, 5-E! Though she has given up chocolate for Lent. [Www]
5-element
Fair enough, Cassis. I just love to see people's bookshelves and try to see how many book titles I recognise...makes me feel like a fly on the wall... I could just make out Nigel Slater and then the 2 lower shelves looked like well, maybe not dieting, but healthy eating/nouvelle cuisine and all that.Giving up chocolate, that's really impressive, even just for 40 days. I would probably give up everything but... and just stick to the dark 70% stuff[:D]
Cassis
My life is hell during no-chocolate time. You might be able to read the titles better on this one.
