Ian
On this topic, Chateau Pennautier (Google 'em and you'll find 'em) also offer a great tasting trip (Languedoc/Cabardes) - at least 11 wines..went a little fuzzy after 8 or 9. Quite a few mono-cepage and oaked/not-oaked comparisons make for interesting tasting. The mid-priced red is excellent value - rich red fruits, long etc. The vendages tardives chardonnay (unusual!) was superb - powerful honey flavours, quite alcoholic, so more pudding wine than apero. The restaurant is good too.The chap we had spoke some english (my inlaws don't speak french), was knowledgeable and charming.Hope this helps,Ian
