chocccie
Thanks Clair [:)] If anybody has tried any recently, what did you think? When I've been to Lidl, they rarely have the same stuff from week to week ... so probably the champers they had in March won't be the same as the stock they carry now. Clair
That fizzy has been a constant in the local Lild shops for several years now.
Will
It's probably verging on sacrilege to say this on a France forum, but one Lidl wine that is really nice is its Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. I can't remember how much it is in France, but I saw in today's English paper that the same one is currently on offer in the English shops at £2.49. Kitty
We have been drinking Lidl bubbly for years. My father-in-law, who only just died this summer, would have a glass of champagne every single evening and we were caring for him. So, to keep costs down, we bought case loads from Lidl. My father-in-law, who had a discerning palate, never complained about it so you are definitely safe in buying it.P.S. When we tried to keeps costs even lower by buying Cava, he was displeased and so we went back to Lidl champagne.
