Suze01
I am partial to smoked cheese too. Smoked anything in fact, especially home-smoked salmon [:)]. I have asked at several supermarket cheesecounters and also specialist cheese shops and in six years have never managed to find a smoked cheese [:(]

leurne
you can find "raclette fumé" in the hypermarket (like Cora, Auchan), but you are right, it's really difficult to find it.

Dog
Why not make your own. Get a large tin or metal bucket put holes around it and a big hole in the top, put some oak or other wood in here and light it, wait until it is not flaring then put another tin on top also perforated with whatever you want to smoke. A few hours will do the job.Any hard cheeses are great smoked.
