Ejc Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Does anyone else watch Saturday Kitchen? There was a recipe this week for Duck confit & fried duck breast with cherry sauce & chocolate grenache. Anyway thought I'd experiment & was quite surpirzed that the chocolate grenache went very well with the duck confit, not so nice with the duck breast, but would definitly try again come the autumn when in need of some comfort food.... I'm always looking for ways to use up our mountains of cherries - and of course choclate is an added bonus! Now if it would just stop raining I would go out and pick some before the birds get them all. We have five mature trees and the early one is already groaning with ripe fruitKathy.
