Clair
What I'mwondering is: Is the culture different for the likes of Total Greekyoghurt? Or is it the type of milk the yoghurt is made with? Does it have to be, as Cat says, sheep's milk to make Greek yoghurt?
"TOTAL Authentic Greek Yoghurt is made with cow’s milk." Clair
Have you tried contacting them to ask them where their products are distributed? They might be able to tell you where your nearest supply is...
hakunamatata
Hi Clair, no luck with emails to Paris and Greece but I made a very nice batch of yoghurt with the Lakeland electric yoghurt maker. As you have experience of these can you tell me if you can make half a litre successfully and if so I presume you cut the time down by half. Clair
Truthfully, I have never timed the process [:$].I just leave it on overnight and it's ready in the morning.Looking at some online recipes, one says 7 hrs for 1 pint of milk... Hope this helps [:)]
