confused of chalus
Everything is ripening very early this year - but I couldnt believe it when I saw the blackberries were ripe already. Our neighbour has aleady made her blackberry jam and I have frozen over a kilo while waiting for the apples (they usually ripen at the same time). I'll be making jam this week, although I dont know what I'll do with it all - there's still a good stock from last year! Kathy
ViVienne
here in the UK the apples on my tree have already ripened and are starting to fall off, They are quite small and I thought they would be sour, but they are really sweet and juicy!
Gemonimo
Any excess berries I turn into a coulis and freeze in small bottles. It seems to keep for an eternity in the fridge once defrosted. I have it with fromage frais or yoghurt for my petit dej.

goose
I tried our apples here (south Charente Maritime) on Monday and they are lovely. Made some apple sauce and puddings etc., etc., Hopefully will take some back to the UK when we go back in two weeks time.
