Val_2 Posted December 23, 2011 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Have to say I prefer Roquefort or Blue d'Auvergne for the flavour and taste and smaller portions where required rather than Stilton which always leaves a nasty bitter taste behind. andyh4 Posted December 23, 2011 Share Posted December 23, 2011 As Gardner have said Lidl currently have it if you are quick - and it is the real MaCoy.. Failing that, Blue des Causses has the closest taste - to my opinion anyway - but is not as creamy in texture. For the texture Roquefort is probably as close as you will get, but it is (again to my taste) a much sharper and saltier taste than Stilton.
