Mayennaise
When we lived in France I used to make a quiche using the red and white Elle cartons of creme. What would be the british equivilent? Single or double cream? Would Elmlea be ok do you think?
idun
I use single or whipping cream in my quiches. Works just fine. I have never used Elmlea.
suein56
Would Elmlea be ok do you think?
I have lived in France for 6.5 years but when I lived in the UK I used Elmlea on occasion and it was fine. Otherwise I used either Tesco's or Sainsbury's own label single or double cream - whichever was available.Tesco or Sainsbury being the 2 closest supermarkets to where we lived.Sue
