Just Katie
I am working with a young French girl aged 25. She loves the London scene, music, fashion etc and speaks good English with a few 'cute' mistakes here and there. She has told me that she would like to start reading in English and I offered to get her a book.I flicked through the 'Ten French Commandments' and thought she would enjoy it as she is very interested in our cultural differences, then I put it back worrying that it may be a load of tosh and she would throw it in the corner and think I was a wally.Any suggestions? Just Katie
Thanks Deb,I was more asking whether the french ten commandments book was a good read. Anyway my daughter has lent her something or other now. How are you keeping these days? Xx
cooperlola
I haven't read it so have no idea, Katie. I mentioned BJ because a girl I eat with - 20 - liked both the movies and the book.I'm fine. Teetering on the brink of leaving here - I think - subject to a meeting with the surgeon in the middle of May. I may need another op', I may get better, or I may be hobbling about for the rest of my life. Nobody really knows. But I expect to be an out-patient by the end of next month.
