EmilyA
Am really enjoying this book by Florence Aubenas, the well-known journalist. In 2009 she spent six months living in Caen searching for work and working in a series of low-paid cleaning jobs, including the ferry at Ouistreham. It is a really fascinating insight into the world of minimum-wage, temporary employment. Has anyone else read it? I know it was a bestseller when it first came out here.
