Sunday Driver
Just call me the Quentin Wilson of motorbikes....[:D]Having sold the old Pan a few months ago for an excellent price to a guy from Lille, I've just sold the little GS500 too.I put in up for sale on moto85.com in January - my local bike shop looked up the Argus price (1,800€) but said as the bike was mint and low mileage, it was worth more so I set the asking price at 2,500€. I dropped the price a couple of weeks ago to 2,300€ to stir some interest and a young local guy came round with his Dad tonight and offered the asking price - no quibbles. The ad cost me 9€ for national coverage with no time limit.Bikes may cost a bit more to buy in France than in the UK, but they sure as heck don't lose their value as quickly.....
