Gardener
I have a certificate that allows quick access into my account but it's on my broken computer.I am trying to get into it from another computer by entering the 3 things needed. But what I don't have is my numero teledeclarant because after I have completed my tax return online, I throw the paper form with that number on it in the bin! Other than by waiting till May or going to the impots, is there anywhere else that I can find that number?

Loirette
Can you not just start again and create a new certificate?
cooperlola
I can't imagine that anybody but your impots office will have the number - otherwise it wouldn't be very secure, would it? I'd give them a ring, if I were you.Loirette - I think that's what he's trying to do, but he can't without the teledeclarant number!
Loirette
Mmm... I thought Gardner was trying to re-use the existing certificate on another PC. I was suggesting that they started again and created another, new certificate. Sorry, if I misunderstood.
cooperlola
I admit so did I (hence my deleted post) as I misread Gardner's post the first time.[:$]
idun
Gardner, what can I say, KEEP EVERY LAST THING.Photocopy every last thing you send off and if it is a cheque and you have written something on the back of it, photo copy both sides of that too!Keep the envelope when you receive something important. This is the best way to do things in France. I learned the hard way about not keeping things.
Lehaut
If you complete your Tax return on line, the blue CERFA form No 10330 "Declaration Préremplie" has your No. Teledeclarant in a little box on the bottom left hand corner of the first sheet (or at least mine does for 2009). Hope this helps.
Gardener
I was trying to get a new certificate by submitting the three figures that they asked for. Two of the three I still have. The problem is that because I filled my tax form in online, the blue paper form was redundant. I threw it away thinking it wouldn't be needed again, because other than that blasted n° it isn't.I think other than a visit to the impôts to see what they can do, I am going to have to wait until I get this years blue form and take a note of the n° . I can't imagine that many people would think to keep this form after they had submitted everything on line, but I could be wrong.
Lehaut
I realised my comment may have been redundant after I re-read the original post. We have every official form we have completed since we came here 14 years ago - suitcases full of them! We keep the blue form with our figures in it to make sure we use the same figures when we complete the forms for the CAF and CMU. We have had one Tax control and one other, both 18 months after we submitted the figures, so we were glad of our original drafts so we could see what we had done. Not "anal", just used to dealing with the Civil Service in the UK for many years [:D]
