divimike
As a new member to this group I am interested to know if any members with motorbikes are in the Languedoc region. We have been in France with our bike for the last 12 months and are looking to meet others interested in touring and/or meeting in the area. We are not in France the whole time but for most of the summer - April to October - and have started to travel out and explore the region. One interesting event is the tour de France which always passes through the region, this year only 3ks from our place. This can be a great day out and we met many locals and visitors when we went to a stage last year. Also planning a trip down into Spain for sometime in July and would be interested to meet anyone while on the trip. Only going as far as the Cataluna and Aragon areas but the scenery there we are told is quite spectacular, especially on a bike....and the roads in France are really enjoyable; clean, smooth and little traffic. divimike

Bob T
Take a look here, they are a good crowd.http://www.bikeclubfrance.com/
Only if you live in the north though. I don't bother with that site anymore as there seems to be only about 20 people who regularly write anything there and they all up north.
divimike
Labruyere53, I have joined that group and agree with Bob that it does seem to be mainly in the North. However looking down there membership list there are a few in the Languedoc area. Still, I will try where ever if it means we can get to ride with fellow enthusiasts. I have been looking at Club 14 which is attached to AXA and they do a tour of Tunisia. It looked good but the price is a bit high. If we can find the funds we may yet go. In the mean time we shall be out riding in a couple of weeks when back in our house there. Really looking forward to getting back out on the black stuff. Lizfjr
We were down your way a couple of weeks ago from the frozen north (89). We took our daughter, who is also a divvy owner, (and known on other sites as Bekidivi) down to Spain and back. We've got GTR 1400s which we imported when we moved here earlier this year. Hope you find some buddies down there.
