Ride out + Meetup CHATELLERAULT - MOTOR AND BIKE MUSEUM

Ride out either Saturday or Sunday 15th / 16th November if anyone is interested.

Forcast looks good, cold but dry. The museum opens at 14.00 hours and closes at 18.00. Its well worth a visit, plenty to see and its situated in the old armory building alongside the river. Details here

I suggest we arrange to meet in the main square of Chatellerault (plenty of parking) for lunch (say 12.00) and then get to the museum for 14.00.

Somewhere near the bandstand would be good.

Please post if you are interested, giving a Saturday or Sunday preference. I'll post meeting points later depending on who is coming.

Just had a thought,  if there are any forum members who don't have bikes but would like to meet up with us for this visit, you are more than welcome.

Hi Peter,

Well there doesn't appear to be a lot of interest in this run, probably because of the weather. We went out to Poitiers yesterday and the minor roads are really quite dangerous for bikes, covered in wet leaves, farmers mud and, of course, the usual bl**dy diesel spills ( I do wish drivers would be more aware of the hazards of this).

I'll ring you Sunday morning when we can sus out the conditions and make a decision.
