johnycarper
Can anyone advise me if we have been told correctly that there is an ombudsmen in France you can turn to if your court case seems to have come to a halt,we have been going through a legal battle with the previous owners for 4 years now.We have been told that you can go to a government department and get a free ruling if its needed, but usually if you mention the ombudsmen things seem to happen.Any help would be appreciated and we live in sarthe near la ferte bernard,Thanks.john
Sunday Driver
The role of an ombudsman is to mediate or arbitrate in a dispute before it goes to litigation. You've passed that stage and are now involved in a court case with the other party so you need to discuss the way forward with your advocat. johnycarper
Ok thanks for that was just hoping that there was an easy way to resolve this and get some stress out of our lives,we will just have to let the french legal system grind its way to a result.
