Clair
Terry Button is a wild life photographer we met when he and his young family were touring France in 2004 in a HUGE camper. They rented the gite for a few weeks and, as we used to be in photograpy, we discovered we had a few things to talk about!Anyway, his site has some fantastic pictures of wildlife, taken all over the world... and some taken in the Lot too!terrybutton.com
Will
Very nice pictures, but I'm not at all sure that an unsolicited advertisement for a commercial enterprise is within the terms of use of this forum. If it is, I have several people I could 'recommend'.
Clair
I did not 'recommend' it anymore than I 'recommend' Le figaro, the Telegraph or the BBC when I link to their articles.
Russethouse
There is nothing in the Code of Conduct preventing genuine third party recommendations, in fact they are often very useful.

Clair
Thanks Gary. I particularly like the underside of the mushroom where all you can see are tramlines. That's the kind of photography I'd like to be able to produce, but it takes very serious material... On the other hand, talking material, he did have a contraption made up of a large concertina-type garden tub into which he would dangle a yellow light bulb below a large home-made funnel. The light would be switched on all night to attract moths, which would fall down into the tub and he would collect them in the early hours of the morning... very dedicated! Christine Animal
I love the beautiful photo of the little fox on the Welcome page. The photographer must be a way off, but you can see he has sensed his presence and is trying to get the odour. A very pretty picture. [:)]
