betty
Friends of mine are due to run a half marathon near Abingdon (Wantage) which is due to start in a few minutes. If it was 2 inches at 6.30am then they are going to be having lots of fun!! Maybe they should have taken their skis instead of running shoes!!Can't believe I was sitting out on the patio eating a lovely fruit salad in the beautiful sunshine on Friday afternoon after having done a bit of gardening! Russethouse
Woken up by my daughter telling me I had to rescue our bamboo plant which had been flattened by snow, hitting it with a big stick did the trick.[:)] Luckily I had covered the emerging shoots of hostas and the small acer with the leaves nearly unfurled, a good 2 inches of snow has fallen here.(Berkshire)Pics later.
