mint
I think so too, Wools, but, planted or not, they are still beautiful.I walk the dog past a field exactly like this and I think that one is definitely planted as the property has a swimming pool, tennis court, etc and this is just another exercise in making your property beautiful.I have no problems with it and enjoy it all the same. Frederick
Its great to see....but .....if Mr Barrosso gets his way with a cut back in the payments to farmers who plant these Agri Environmental strips .Will farmers pay out themselves to continue with them ...I think not ... The RSPB is worried about the cut back on this scheme in the UK and the effect on bird population .

Benjamin
There is an awful lot of meadowland planted with poppies this year in our part of the UK and very pretty they are too.
woolybanana
What can we do to improve the environment round Norman's barrel? Perhaps some tubs full of cacti, so the locals won't nick them.
NormanH
I don't need any more prickly things around! There are plenty of Prxxxs already
idun
I saw seeds for these flowering meadow type things years ago. I think that they were called swiss meadows when I saw them. As I am not a gardener I really thought about putting them in our garden. I would have loved it. However, as I knew that we would be needing to sell up at some future point, thought better of doing it in case it put prospective buyers off. They are like something from a Monet painting, how wonderful to be able to live with such beauty.
