Postie
HiWe have six walnut trees on our new property that need to be felled. A couple of the trees are biggish - about 500/600mm dia. I want to plank the some of the wood to make furniture in a few years time. What would be the best way to plank the wood? Ideally a mobile sawmill, but where do I find one of these? Any ideas would be appreciated. I would post a photo but this hitech stuff defeats me!!Cheers Postie
Anton Redman
Have a look through 'Scieries de bois' in yellow pages 'mobile' or 'a domicle' mean they will come to you. Around us 'Scieriage a Domicle' signs on odd trees with local 'phone numbers also abound. http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverlesprofessionnels/index.do
