Weegie
Just a query. Is lime wood worth anything? Reason I ask is I have about forty planks of lime wood which has been air dried for the past two years. Various thicknesses and widths and about 2 metres in length. Thanks for any replies. Jonzjob
Lime is lovely to carve and turn. What sort of widths and thicknesses?
Dick Smith
Also used for making Danish/Viking/Anglo Saxon shields. Which may not be a very useful piece of information...
Jonzjob
You just never know just when you may need one or more of those Mr. Smith [8-)][8-)] ?Thinking about it I could use one when I am cutting our pyrakanfur hedge. That stuff makes blackthorn look friendly!!! But I suppose there is only 75 yards of it [:-))]...
