Anton Redman
Lydl only have the machines in one week a year. Carrefour and Castorama are more likely to stock one.

hoverfrog
should the blade be "balanced" after sharpening - like fitting tyres?I ask because I had my 2' diameter Gautier sawblade sharpened, and now it vibrates a lot when running. Cuts a treat though :)
Dave&Olive
hi ok not for band saw blades...... would have thought that the blade was not fitted to the boss true that was causing your vibration or some has not sharpened it right how much do you pay to have it resharpened ??? have found out it`s less expensive to buy new from here http://www.woodfordwm.co.uk/ Dave
hoverfrog
I paid 23€ - which I didn't think was too bad. It's fitted properly - there's only one way/place it can go.It's a Gaubert actually (oops!)I can't even find replacement blades on the net - their website says no replacements parts are available :(
hoverfrog
Dave - you were correct, the blade had slipped a bit during tightening! All sorted now (it's a bit like aligning a clutch!) - and it fair zips through even super-seasoned wood :)
