what to do?making clocks or painting pictures

Help,!!!!!!!,,,I have few a few question's to ask.?

I recently read the article for joining MDA.It was very useful thankyou.My problem is :

(1) I would love sell my paintings,so i would need to be registered as an artist.BUT,,,i also make funky wooden novelty clocks,signs,calenders,all wooden stuff and would love to set up a business,so i would also need to be registered for that.

(2)Do i have to decide on one or the other?

(3)Can i sell my painting's and clock's on the same market stand?

So many question's,,,,sorry but i don't know where to start.

(4)Shall i go to MDI first?or MDA,?

Any advice is soooooooooooooooooooooo welcome.
