Where to buy a cooker?

I am looking for a new free standing, range type oven and hob, ideally duel fuel, elec oven with gas top.  Are there any websites I can browse to give me an idea of price and style.

Have you tried Darty?  I was very satisfied with their goods and service.

I have been delighted with DISCOUNTEO. I ordered a freezer and had it the following week.  The microwave I want is 50€ cheaper there (including delivery) than at Darty.

Of course, if you want to physically look at something, then Darty is a better bet.

    I searched around on these sites, before eventually deciding to buy from the UK. They may give you a good idea what is available though.

I thought I negotiated a good deal at BUT. About 15% off already discounted prices and free use of their van for 2 hours to get the stuff (cooker, fridge-freezer and washing machine) back to the village. It was a slog, taking up half a day, but seemed worth it.

Found out in bar next evening (and subsequently verified) that the one-man band electrician in the village could have supplied exactly the same goods for almost same "discounted" prices I paid, free delivery and he would have installed it all for nothing, too. More importantly, perhaps, if any future problems encountered, his premises are only 150 metres away. And I would have gained a few brownie points for giving the business to a local.

Now they tell me.
