Chezstevens
Hi,I have done a search for coal - nothing came up so......We have a wood burning rayburn we use during the winter for cooking. We use coal overnight so that we have a warm kitchen in the morning. We have used the charbon blocks, delivered on pallets of approx 1/2 tonne, but they are expensive and not as good as loose coal / nuggets.I have contemplated a large one-off load from Poland, or loadup.co.uk to bring coal from UK imported from Poland, but before I get too far into this radical step has anybody any contacts for reasonably priced coal in Deux Sevres or surrounding area.Thank youVernon
saddie
It may be worth looking at "buches de bois comprimé" there is a special overnight variety expressly for keeping a fire in. They are sold by various companies so I suggest a search on the net.
