I live in dept 79 and want to know if there is a Carrefour in either Niort or Poitiers. Must say I cannot recall seeing one but I may have missed it.

Here's the address Vab.  I never know the names of the places, but I go past the Gare SNCF, keep going straight on past the hospital, straight on until you finally see it on the right hand side along boulevard de l'Atlantique.  You have to get your trolley in the parking area and then go up a sort of escalator (tapis roulant) with it [:'(].  That's not too bad, but it's when you come back down again with a hreavy trolley load, I've never understood how it clings to the tapis roulant on the slope.  I was frightened to death the first time thinking I had to hold it to stop it going down on to the people in front, but it does seem to grip somehow!

Thanks Christine. That sounds like fun with a trolley and an escalator. Fortunately, I am only going there to purchase a couple of things so will not bother with a trolley. I hvae been told I can purchase a slicer for my bacon at a good price.
