Etoile
Hello. I am looking to buy several small dining tables for our B&B in St. Jean D'Angely, Charente Maritime. I would like to find Shabby Chic style but I think they might all be in the UK now! Any advice welcome.
Cendrillon
I am not quite sure what you have in mind but Sesame and But sell the small (2 seater) marble and wrought iron Bistro tables (oval or rectangular) and they are very sturdy and reasonably priced.EditI have just read Sue's reply and I think the ones I mentioned above also seat 4. (probably they are the same)PM me for details.[:)]
Sue Smith
Conforama also do marble/wrought iron tables (rectangular and oval) which seat four. Can't recall actual price off-hand but feel sure that they're under E50.Sue.
Will
Are you aware that the rules for B&B say that all guests - and the hosts - must all eat around the same large table? http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/9/1145132/ShowPost.aspx#1145132 - top of page 9Otherwise you could do as the French do. Get some nice table legs and screw them to a piece of chipboard. When covered with a cloth it looks just like a real table.
woolybananasbrother
Enjoying convivial banter with their red faced farmer's wife hostess and her 27 children and chatting farm prices with the peasant farmer, swilling gallons of rot gut wine and eau de vie. Whilst the goats, cats, pigs and odd chicken mill round waiting for scraps.[6]
