Barbel Bob
Hi All,Any ideas where i can buy some spray to make a bathroom window private, not sure what it is called in English never mind French [8-)]That or the film you stick on would be useful, i have checked leroy merlin and brico depot.ThanksJulie
Clair
I have done 6 ground floor windows with a film I found it in the local brico shop with all the sticky films. It's sometimes known as "film anti-regard" "film aspect verre dépoli" and is designed to give a frosted glass look and to let the light through (example, other example). It was easy to fit once the window had been removed from the frame and laid on a flat surface.Measure the glass area to cover, cut the film to size, clean the glass, spray lightly with water.Remove the backing paper off the film as you fit it onto the glass and gently rub towards the edges with a squeegee. Done.I have also successfully used an anti-solar film on south-facing windows to reduce the inside heat.

The window i want to make private is in a shower cubicle!!!Julie
Clair
I cannot comment on using it inside a shower cubicle, but outside should be no problem. I have used it on the inside of a bathroom window and it's perfectly fine.
