nectarine
We have lots of kitchen lighters but when they run out of gas then theycan't be used anymore, as I just cannot find anywhere that sells a bottle of the gas (with various nozzles) that you can refill them with. And I know that these lighters could be refilled? I have tried supermarkets, (Auchan, Casino, Intermarche) and various bricos (Leclerc, GammVert) and also a few tabacs ... but nothing. Now I'm reluctant to throw them away but there must be somewhere that sells bottles of lighter fuel? Can anyone point me in the right direction? What is a can of lighter fuel called? Thanks all

Kitty
We bought refill gas for our gas lighter from Gitem - they were in a basket on the counter.
Sunday Driver
All our local tabacs sell them. The brand here is SAF and comes in a black and orange aerosol container labelled 'Gaz pour tous briquets'. The various nozzles are in the cap. Iceni
What is a can of lighter fuel called?
Take an example with you into the tabac - then ask slowly and very loudly, in English, for something similar. We have a similar problem with boxes of matches. No-one will sell me loose matches which means that I must throw away empty boxes. At one time I could sell them to Bill Owen for use on "Last of the ....." but since he shuffled off even this opportunity for recycling has been denied to me.Am I missing a biz opportunity here ?John
