neiltmufc
Hi there, following my Mother's passing we have been making the arrangements for her estate with a local notaire. She was the joint owner of our French home with my Dad. No other assets are held in France. He has now asked us to pay 4370 Euro in fees and when we queried it (there was no itemisation or explanation) he has said that 4200 Euro is a state, regulatory tariff for " l'attestation immobilière ". His email said:" Il s'agit d'un tarif réglementaire fixé par l'Etat comprenant droits, honoraires et TVA "Still seems very high for a Real Estate Certificate.Has anyone had any previous experience of this sort of thing?Would really appreciate any insight anyone can give. Thanks in advance.Neil
