Chancer
I have just bought some new glasses on t'internet from a site recomended by Money Saving Expert.com, I dont hold the fact that I put all my money into an Icelandic bank on their recommendation against them!Anyway to me it seems like a really good price, two pairs of prescription glasses, for reading and driving, with nice looking frames for €16.30 delivered to France. I will let you know what I think of them when I get them but at that price it seems worth a punt.http://www.selectspecs.com/
mint
Sure thing, Chance.I bought some on line at specs4less, recommended on this forum. I suppose for most people, they would be OK. Alas, for me, being a very small person, the specs were too large for my face (even though I ordered the ones for small faces) and so I wouldn't order any more from them. Will deffo be interested in how you rate your specs. Chancer
Wiil do Sweet17.I bought some a long time ago from Spexmaniac (good name hard to forget) which were fine but after my eye accident I initially tried some cheap varifocals from goggles4u.com which I could not get on with and the screwthreads attaching the frameless frames stripped straight away so they were junked. I have now decided to stick with single vision lenses and having two pairs of glasses, thanks to my bionic left eye being set short for close vision I rarely if ever need to actually use reading glasses and the supermarket ones that I have arent at all adapted to the astigmatism. My undamaged right eye has now regressed back to 20/20 vision from 18/20, - isnt nature fantastic!? and wheareas before lenses made no difference to the left eye the retina has now sufficiently recovered that at my last eyetest I found that I coud in fact wear glasses for driving, one and a half eyes being safer than one. Chancer
On the contrary I was far more dangerous with two, hence the loss [;-)]
