Clair
Lakeland have changed their delivery charge from £10 + £1 per £5 over £20 to a very favourable flat rate of £7.50 for overseas orders, which is more in keeping with the delivery charges levied by other UK-based retailers when despatching to Europe.http://www.lakeland.co.uk/info/OverseasDeliveries
EmilyA
That is really good news. I was in Lakeland last week and the lady on the desk told me what the charges were to France and winced as she said it! BTW can thoroughly recommend the new baking parchment lined tinfoil - so much easier for lining tins, cooking in parcels etc
Gardener
I have had bakeware from there before and been very impressed. I now need to replace my non stick frying pans preferably with a brand other than tefal, are lakeland non stick pans any good?Mrs G
idun
Why other than tefal? I usually buy tefal frying pans. When I was in France I was impressed by leclerc's own make non stick frying pans, they had sort of scultpured edges on the outside. Gardener
I bought 3 of these on special offer last christmas and gave one away. They are fantastic for making mini quiche type nibbles.http://www.lakeland.co.uk/12514/My-Kitchen-Cook-and-Bake-Mini-Morsel-SetAny fry pan recommendation would be welcome please. woolybanana
Well, I've already spent my monthly allowance today as M and S are offering 15% off for online purchases which covers the postage at least, so Lakeland will have to wait a bit longer, what with Xmas coming up. Clair
I use Tefal frying pans most of the time, and I snagged a reduced "Ingenio" set of 3 pans + 1 28cm frying pan + 1 24cm sauteuse for 40€ last month... Damaged packaging, reduced from 80€.Good non-stick surface, easy to clean.I also like that they have a single clip-on handle, which means I can stack them easily. For steaks and other meats, I use a Le Creuset cast-iron gridle. Heavy, solid, non-stick.Expensive compared to Tefal, but it'll last longer than I will!

mint
Re Lakeland, just to let you folks know.Although I could enter the French address details, the site wouldn't let me pay. Kept saying I hadn't chosen a delivery method and wouldn't let me proceed to check-out.Phoned up and some woman took the order, no probs.
