Muesli or Müsli

Hi all,

We have been looking for real muesli mixtures, without being full of chocolate bits and other sweeteners but haven't found any. Does anyone know where we can buy unsweetened muesli mixtures? We live in 16 so our supermarkets are SuperU, Geant, Carrefour and Auchan.

Do you have a Biocoop anywhere near you? They certainly do have it.

Otherwise look in the bio section of the bigger Hyper Us.

I make my own from different dried nuts fruits oats, seeds ect that can be picked up from any super market, That way you can make to your own taste

I buy Carrefours Muesli Classic and I dont think it has any sugar in it.

Its very basic so we add extra fruit, nuts, oats etc.

Bigger branches of Géant round here (15, 12, and 46 - Cantal, Aveyron and Lot) stock Jordans Special Muesli, which is a no-added sugar product without chocolate. It does have a small amount of crystallized fruit (papaya I think) but otherwise it's the best of the lot that is widely available.

Thank you very much for your kind suggestions. We'll deffo check out Jordan's. but I haven't seen a Biocoop around us. We actually do mix our own up here in Sweden where we spend a little more than half the year (until next year when we plan to move permanently in a south-westerly direction and live full time in Charente), but it's when we get down to the warmth and sunshine that the muesli problem kicks in. Once again, tusen tack!
