Super U Change in gas canister sales

I have recently discovered after an upgrade to the Super U garage I use the method of changing the gas canisters there has changed when a new one is needed

When asking for a new bottle I was given a key when I paid and was expected to open up an individual locker in the cage and remove the full canister and put in the empty myself .. There is also now a machine to take your money and issue a key to use when the kiosk is not manned which is a good idea . The new system is fine if you are tall strong and can lift down a heavy canister from 6 foot up .Perhaps they think we can all do with an upper body work out ......some will struggle now they are going over to "get it yourself "

You are a bit snookered when using Super U own brand gas when it comes to making a change of supplier .... I am sure Super U are well aware of it too !

Change tack a bit, is the price of the normal size bottled gas the same with every supplier. Often wondered if we can get our Butagas cheaper elsewhere.

Super U is cheaper than Butagas Blue   Same size......It varies a bit between 20 and 23 euros depending which Super U you happen to call into as there does not appear to be a fixed price with Super U

Thanks Frederick, we haven't a Super U local to us, we normally get the bottles at the super market petrol stations.
