Chancer
Fire doors are made of very little, they are not solid.
I wish [:'(]Mine are 6 panel moulded one hour fire doors; hardwood lippings over a solid dense particle board core with embossed hardwood facings, they weigh about 75kgs and its all I can do to suffle them about on my back by leaning forward with a two handed rear grip, I had to make up a dolly to move them around on their side. Chancer
Mind you most doors that I have seen in France that should be fire doors werent, they were just flimsy hollow core standard doors albeit with a 2nd top hinge to make you think they are something special, the French dont see the need for intumescent seals either. dave21478
Continuing the off-topic ramblings, BricoDepot have a promo on this week which includes a Lavor pressure washer for 99€. 160 bar, 510 litres/min comes with fixed lance, rotobuse, patio brush, a couple of car wash brushes and a flexi-hose for unblocking drains - although this is only 6m long so perhaps a bit short.Anyway, I am pretty happy with it.
