Crevette
There seems to be in France two levels of football ;i) Kickarounds in the parkii) Competitive football in leagues (infoor/astro/football pitch).Unfortunately it seems pretty impossible to get a kickaround with mates in a public gymnasium/stadium. I used to play with mates (none competitive) three different evenings in the UK at three different venues which we could easilly ring up and hire. Here in France you need ;i) To make a written letter from a Comitee Enterprise to the Marie many months in advance to request a booking - priority is always given to the sports clubs, etc.ii) Everyone must have a written letter form the doctor saying they are OK for playing football. At least this is how it works in Paris - hope it's better for you there!Next week I am trying something called "Jorkyball" which is a kind of 2 vs 2 football and which is easier to get hold of bookings.Good luck.-Rob-
