gilligogsgill p
I need a little help. My husband and myself were both keen fisherman in England. We relocated to the Charente area and thought that having the river Charente on our doorstep the fishing would be great WRONG. We have tried some local lakes and I think all the fish has been taken out and eaten. Are there any English run fisheries in the Poitier Charente area were the fish stay where they belong in the lake. We have been and blanked so many times that it wont be long before fishing will become a thing of the past.Hoping someone may be able to help please. gill p

No fish will be eaten and none taken out other than for the vidage but with 3 lakes in total there will always be one or 2 up and running. Get in touch and we'll see if we can help you. Debra
Hi Gill - nice to see a post about a couple enjoying fishing - rather than men escaping from 'her indoors'!
